Econaur Successfully Hosted the Second Edition of Econaur Sustainability Awards 2021” on 8th October 2021 during a Virtual Ceremony from 5 pm to 7 pm.

Econaur Sustainability Awards was bestowed to the organizations who worked on sustaining our resources and also to the innovative products which can be used in green construction and to the buildings which are energy efficient or contributing towards a sustainable environment. The Awards Were conferred for exemplary work in specific fields of environment conservation.

The aim of the awards is to Encourage individuals, organizations, groups, businesses, and communities and to Recognize them as role models, We want to Promote, Acknowledge and Reward their efforts in Sustainable development. Econaur stated that they Concluded the awards to aware and educate society for environmental issues & ways to step towards sustainability.

Some of the practices and processes, which have been introduced by ITC Grand Chola Include the usage of Eco-friendly boards in the Facade and usage of Insulation in all Buildings.

ITC Grand Chola Won the Winner award in the Building Envelope Category, the award was announced by Mrs. Asmita Agarwala, National Design Head, Everest Industries. On behalf of ITC Grand Chola team Mr. Rahul Prabhakar took the award and highlighted about the work ITC Grand Chola is doing in the Field of Sustainability from so many years. Econaur Co-founder Mr. Kapil Menghrani appreciated ITC Grand Chola team and consultant for their Contribution in Sustainability.

Recently, ITC Grand Chola implemented the highly advanced patented and ultra-efficient Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG) technology that has helped in producing drinking water locally with renewable wind energy.


The hotel’s 100% of electrical energy requirements are met through renewable energy sources – windfarms. Other green practices include the in-house bottling unit – SunyaAqua, Zero-mile water, and avoidance of single-use plastic.
